Medieval Banquet

The team from Reeves Restaurant are really excited to be presenting an amazing Medieval dining experience at Dunster Tithe Barn.

The banquet will be a culinary cornucopia of all things Medieval. Think dressed fresh salmon, roasted poultry, boar and venison sausages and pies, rustic breads, barley, beef and vegetable stew, roasted root vegetable potage, cassoulets with chick peas, beans and lentils, and funges (a broth of mushroom, leeks and spices) all washed down with a glass of mead. Following this extravaganza, enjoy a rich selection of cheeses, poached pears, fruits and tarts. All dietary requirements will be catered for.

The banqueting tables will be laden with food, decorative gourds, candelabras and trailing foliage. Whilst eating, you will be treated to a wealth of entertainment including jousting, a jester, singers and lyre players. Plus, have your photo taken with a knight in armour, have a go at being in the stocks or medieval gambling, and place a bid in our silent auction.

Vinted, Ebay, Temu and Amazon have a wide range of affordable costumes or why not pop into see the ladies at Knit and Natter in Dunster Memorial Hall on a Monday from 11am where they will be delighted to assist you in making a headdress or tabard.

Ticket includes: 2 course banquet, free welcome drink and entertainment

Please note there will be no parking at the Tithe Barn, please park at The Steep car park.

There will be a limited amount of parking for Blue Badge holders, please get in contact if you need to park at the Tithe Barn.
