medieval reenactment and the artisan village
As part of the Festival we have two superb medieval reenactment groups performing for us. At the entrance to the Dunster Castle Historic European Martial Arts (HEMA) longswords will be engaging in battles. At the Tithe Barn Wessex Medieval Alliance (WMA) will be performing battles and giving talks about weaponry and life in the middle ages, their archers will be hitting the target over the whole weekend!
Outside at the Tithe Barn artisans will be demonstrating their crafts in the Tithe Barn. As well as demonstrating their crafts you will also be able to buy their makes.
