​The Festival was held over the weekend of 5th - 7th December. There was a marvellous variety of entertainment for visitors of all ages including music, children's activities including Santa's grotto and a reindeer station, mediaeval-themed entertainment including a mediaeval banquet and re-enactment, trader special events and the Festival concluded with a fabulous torch-lit procession throughout the village.​

The Festival was a great success and we were able to raise at the Festival and through other fundraising events half the funds needed to put on the Festival this year. Plus we donated £500 to local groups: £200 to support the parish magazine, £200 to Dunster Memorial Hall and £100 towards the Dunster Webcam fund. Local groups including Homestart, Dunster Community Orchard, and the Tithe Barn and Village Gardens Trusts were also able to raise monies directly for themselves through activities and providing refreshments.

Despite the worst that Mother Nature could throw at us in the form of Storm Darragh, with tremendous community spirit, despite having to cancel most events, we were able to put on a memorable inaugural Christmas Festival in 2024. The finale being the torch-lit procession and concert by the Medieval Baebes.

After a mammoth effort fundraising throughout the year and generous donations through our GoFund Me page, we still managed to raise funds for community projects - we donated £500 to the Dunster Memorial Hall and £50 to the Parish Magazine.
