MEDIEVAL BANQUET AT Tithe Barn
The Festival is launched a sumptuous Medieval Banquet and dining experience. The banquet will be a culinary cornucopia of all things Medieval – for example dressed fresh salmon, roasted poultry, boar and venison pies, roasted root vegetable potage and funges (a broth of mushroom, leeks and spices) all washed down with a glass of mead. Followed by cheeses, poached pears, fruits and tarts.

The banqueting tables will be highly decorated as will the barn with medieval pennants made by Dunster’s Knit and Natter group and art provided by ‘The Medieval Gallery’. Whilst eating, banquet goers will be treated to a wealth of entertainment including jousting, a jester, singers and lyre players, and you can have a go at medieval gambling and sitting in the stocks!
